Bay Area Solar Incentives

The California Solar Initiative was established in 2007, the goal was to reach one million solar rooftops in California. The program had an installation goal of 2,000 megawatts of solar in California. The program was a success! PG&E had an installation goal of 152 megawatts and ended up installing 200 megawatts. The program closed as of May 2, 2013.

30% Federal Tax Credit:

The federal tax credit was established in 2008. Allowing homeowners to recieve a 30% federal tax credit if solar is installed by December 31st, 2016.
