The California Solar Initiative was established in 2007, the goal was to reach one million solar rooftops in California. The program had an installation goal of 2,000 megawatts of solar in California. The program was a success! SDG&E had an installation goal of 48 megawatts and ended up installing 57 megawatts. The program closed as of May 2, 2013.
With Investor Owned Utilities, Publicly Owned Utilites, Rural Coopertives, and Community Aggregators in California for local solar rebate programs.
